Western Europe” by The Banker magazine, in its 2017 “Bank of the Year”
awards. BNP Paribas also won Best Bank
in France and Best Bank in Belgium.

Year awards this year celebrates those banks which continue to perform well in

Announcing
the award, The
Banker commended BNP Paribas for having delivered
on its 2014 to 2016 development plan and for unveiling an ambitious new plan in
March 2017. The magazine also highlighted the bank’s key role in the
energy transition.
