The activities relies on dedicated teams based in Paris and in 11 export finance desks located in the main exporting countries (Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan, Geneva, New York, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, and Emerging ECAs in Paris) and on teams located in the main importing countries. These locally based teams have legitimacy to structure and manage global financial export credits with the support of 28 Export Credit Agencies, among which some are located in emerging countries.
BNP Paribas is present in 85 countries, of which around 40 are emerging markets and thus provides an in-depth knowledge of buyers/borrowers and local procedures.
